The SDRA has several properties available for lease. Click here to view a description of those properties. Property owners and real estate agents may also submit a commercial listing for sale or lease for properties located withing the downtown DRA's district.



Public Use and Parking



The parking lot across from the Scottsboro post office was purchased in 2016 by the SDRA to provide Free parking for the public in the downtown area. Future projects are in the works to help provide parking and public use for downtown dining, shopping and events.

By making a contribution to the SDRA you help promote the SDRA's Redevelopment efforts and improve the downtown image of Scottsboro.



Purpose of the SDRA



The Scottsboro Downtown Redevelopment Authority works closely with the City of Scottsboro, Scottsboro Commercial Development Authority, Scottsboro Main Street, Historical Association, Tourism Advisory Committee, Chamber of Commerce and other government and civic organizations to stimulate the economy in the downtown district, offer incentives for development and preserve the historic integrity of the district. The SDRA’s mission is to implement, promote, maintain and enhance a beautiful, safe and economically viable downtown by focusing any and all resources, both public and private, to ensure fulfillment of Downtown Scottsboro’s potential to the benefit of the entire regional community.
